| Amity Direct Signs Up With EuroDebt |
FIRST MORTGAGE PACKAGER TO JOIN NEW PARTNER PROGRAMME
Following the launch of its Partner Programme for mortgage packagers and brokers earlier this month, EuroDebt
Financial Services has signed up its first packager Partner. Specialist mortgage provider, Amity Direct, is now
providing its broker network with the facility to offer their clients debt management solutions as a viable alternative
to an IVA or bankruptcy.
"We are delighted to be working with EuroDebt to provide Debt Management services to our network members," said Perry
Wilson, Head of Business Development, Amity Direct. "By offering clients access to an effective Debt Management Plan
through EuroDebt, we can help them regain control of their finances as well as enable the broker to sustain a positive
on-going relationship. Plus, this partnership offers us early proof of results, as well as attractive commissions. In
such a tough financial market, being able to offer such a high quality Debt Management service has clear long-term
advantages for our business and our clients."
The EuroDebt Debt Management Plan focuses on finding the right debt solution for an individual through a highly
personalised service, including an initial face-to-face meeting. Working closely with individuals to create a proactive
plan to deal with defaults and court actions, EuroDebt helps clients manage their debts and take control of their
finances.
The EuroDebt Partner Programme gives mortgage brokers a chance to offer their clients this expert support, with debt
management being a viable and flexible alternative to bankruptcy or an IVA. It can also work alongside secured finance
offerings or standalone and it means that brokers don't need to turn away clients that would, otherwise, be unsuitable
for other financial services.
"UK personal debt stood at £1.38 trillion at the end of October 2007*, leaving mortgage brokers with ever increasing
numbers of clients facing unmanageable debts," explains Kevin Still, Director, EuroDebt Financial Services. "For many
this could mean not being able to offer any form of financial solution. However, our Partner Programme provides a viable
alternative.
"Amity is the first to benefit from this new partnership offering and we will be working closely together to offer
Amity's broker network a high level of support to enable them to offer EuroDebt Debt Management solutions to their
clients."
Designed to provide early proof of results for brokers with predictable and attractive introductory commissions paid
weekly and on a 'paid when paid' basis, there are several tiers of Introducer Agreement. These depend on whether a
broker simply wants to refer cases to EuroDebt or submit on-line the whole application and Debt Management Agreement for
approval through the EuroDebt application processing system. Each broker is also provided with their own branded website
to promote the EuroDebt services as well as other sales and marketing support.
"Our Partner Programme offers mortgage packagers and brokers a chance to offer their clients a lifeline out of financial
hardship" concluded Kevin Still. "We expect many more mortgage brokers to follow Amity's lead, joining EuroDebt's list
of Partners."
